Palm Acid Oil from Soapstock
Palm Acid Oil is a by-product generated during the alkaline refining of Crude Palm Oil. The crude oil undergoes refining, bleaching, and deodorization to make it suitable for edible uses. A by-product of this alkaline refining process is soapstock, which is transformed into Palm Acid Oil through the acidification process using sulfuric acid.
